A giclée print is a high-quality archival print, made with pigment-based inks on fine art paper. The colour and detail come very close to the original painting, and the print is made to last.  All prints are produced in strictly limited quantities and hand-signed by Astrid. Smaller prints are mounted with white mount board and sent flat. Larger prints arrive rolled in a protective tube. Either way, they are ready to frame as you please. Prints are sent unframed.

Original paintings can be bought directly from this website, with free delivery UK-wide, and occasionally through open studios and art faires. Some of Astrid's work also is located in galleries around the world at any given time. Those pieces are sold directly through the galleries holding them. You will find out if a painting is framed on each product description on the Shop Artwork page. If you would like a hand-painted frame on a particular piece, please ask.

Yes. Each original painting is a single piece that exists nowhere else. Once a painting is sold, it is sold. If something similar is what you are hoping for, a commission is the way to go.
