A little painting, just ten centimetres square. A blue enamel colander, footed and perforated, holding two lemons with a leaf still attached and a cut half showing its segments. The grey ground lets the yellow and the blue do the talking.
Painted on panel in gesso and dry pure pigments, with French newsprint collaged underneath and beeswax over the top. Now in a private collection, shown here for the archive.
